Rock-thrower detained in Hevron

Thursday, June 13, 2019, 19:16 On Wednesday, June 12, an Arab was detained after he threw a rock at an Israeli car on the road between Ma’arat HaMachpela and the Avraham Aveinu neighborhood in Hevron. The rock hit the car, causing damage, and the terrorist fled the scene. The driver chased him and when he ran towards an IDF checkpoint the driver called out to the soldier to stop the fleeing terrorist. The soldier stopped the rock-thrower, who was detained and interrogated. It is likely that an indictment will be filed against him next week.

We believe that in order to eradicate Islamic terror one must act decisively against every instance of terror, from throwing rocks to murder.”
