Two minors detained on light rail in Jerusalem released

Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 11:58 On the morning of Tuesday, November 29, the Jerusalem District Court released the two Jewish girls detained on Sunday during an altercation between Jewish girls and Arab women on the light rail in Jerusalem. The police appealed the decision of the Jerusalem Magistrate Court to release the two to house arrest, however the district court ruled that there is no cause to keep them in remand and ordered their release.
Judge Carmel ruled that the girls would remain under house arrest for four days. Honenu Attorney David HaLevi represented the detainees.
