Will the fifth minor be released before Shabbat? – UPDATE

Friday, January 11, 2019, 12:06 Today (Friday), the GSS and the Israeli police are making attempts to prevent the last detained minor from arriving at the urgent deliberation scheduled at the Central District Court.
The deliberation is on an appeal filed by Honenu Attorneys Adi Keidar and Amir Bracha demanding the minor’s release. Originally the Central District Court scheduled the deliberation for Sunday, and after a deliberation which took place earlier today (Friday) at the Supreme Court in Jerusalem, the District Court accepted Justice Stein’s instruction and moved the deliberation forward to 12:30 today.
Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar leveled criticism at the GSS and the police: “The Supreme Court said that the appeal must be held as soon as possible, and indeed the District Court immediately scheduled a deliberation. But there is one side that does not carry out legal decisions and does not respect the law, and that is the GSS and the police who are doing everything they can, now, at this moment, in order to keep the minor away from the deliberation and it is all through lies and baseless claims. They are insisting on keeping him away from the deliberation, although being there is a right granted to him by law.”
Earlier this week the GSS and the police prevented this minor and other minors from being present at a deliberation in their case. In protest of the violation of their rights the attorneys of the minors left the courtroom and the deliberation did not take place.
Update: Friday, January 11, 2019, 12:55 The GSS has refused to bring the minor to the deliberation at the Central District Court, which has caused a commotion in court. It is not clear whether or not the deliberation will take place. Details to follow.
