11 Jewish detainees in Shechem

Thursday, November 24, 2011, 9:29 Overnight, 11 members of “Gareen Shechem”, an organization calling for the return of Jews to Shechem, were detained in Shechem as they walked towards Kever Yosef (Joseph’s Tomb). The group was detained several hundred meters from the site and taken to the Ariel Police Station.
Police investigators informed Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar that most of the group will be brought to the Petah Tikva Magistrates Court for a deliberation, where the police will request that they be conditionally released. A Honenu attorney will represent the detainees at the deliberation.
