After hours of searching – Hevron detainee located

Tuesday, September 20 18:42 After long hours during which Honenu attorney Adi Kedar tried to clarify what happened to the Hevron resident arrested this morning by police detectives, it turned out that he is being held by the Central Unit of the Yehuda and Shomron police.
At approximately 10:00 AM detectives from the Central Unit of the Yehuda and Shomron police arrived in Kiryat Arba and with guns drawn arrested a young man and left the scene. Since then all traces of him disappeared and all attempts by Kedar to locate him in one of the police stations failed. Currently, as stated above, the detainee is being held by the Central Unit of the Yehuda and Shomron police.
The youth is arrested on suspicion of causing damage to a vehicle and illegal use of a vehicle. He denies all of the charges against him. It is not yet clear concerning which incident he is being investigated. Police investigators from the Central Unit of the Yehuda and Shomron announced that they will leave him in remand overnight.
It should be noted that the detainee is a youth approximately 19 years old with no criminal record, whose brother was murdered in a terror attack several years ago.
