Sunday, November 9, 2025, 16:02 One week ago, an Arab working as a Wolt courier in Jerusalem threw a glass bottle at a Jewish woman. She suffered deep cuts that required many stitches. After the attack, she filed a complaint with the police, but the case was closed several days later, although Wolt had notified the victim that the identity of the assailant was known to them. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher wrote a letter to the police, demanding that they arrest the terrorist. In response, the police notified him that they would reopen the investigative case.
Attorney Bleicher described the attack in his letter: “My client, the mother of three small children, parked her car near her home after returning from a family event. She took her toddler daughter out of the car, and while she was still holding her hand, a motorcyclist with an Arab appearance and ‘Wolt’ courier branding approached her. The Arab hurled a glass bottle full of drink at the woman.
“The bottle hit her hard in the leg, causing very painful deep cuts that required medical treatment. My client’s leg started to noticeably bleed while she was still holding hands with her toddler daughter. Her other two children, who had remained in the car, watched the terrifying scene, crying and in panic. In light of the severity of the incident, the immediate danger posed by the terrorist, and the fact that his identity is known to the Wolt company, I am urgently requesting that you order immediate action to apprehend the terrorist and gather information about him from Wolt, before he carries out additional serious acts of terror.”
Attorney Bleicher: “The Arab attacker committed an act of terror on a woman holding a toddler’s hand. This is the modus operandi of murderous Islamic terror, whose depths of cruelty we learned on the seventh of October. The terrorist must be neutralized as soon as possible. We expect the security forces to act without delay to arrest him.”
