GSS detainees, a week without meeting an attorney

Saturday, February 8, 2020, 21:48 On Shabbat, Saturday, February 8, the GSS extended by 48 additional hours the order preventing one of the GSS detainees from meeting with an attorney. An additional detainee is prohibited from meeting with an attorney until Sunday afternoon.
The two detainees, aged 18 and 19, are being interrogated by the GSS, and one of them has been held for a week without meeting with an attorney. On Sunday, a deliberation is expected to take place on their cases at the Petah Tikva Magistrates Court.
The detainees were detained at the beginning of the week and are being interrogated over different incidents, the details of which are under a gag order. One of the detainees is being interrogated over suspicion of throwing a rock at an Arab and the other is suspected of arson.
Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar is representing both detainees.

On Sunday, February 9, at 12:00, the above mentioned GSS detainees who have not yet met with an attorney will be brought to a deliberation at the Petah Tikva Magistrates Court. Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar, who is representing both detainees, is expected to demand their release.
