Thursday, January 23, 2025, 8:13 Four years ago, an Arab punched a Hareidi yeshiva student walking through the City of David neighborhood of Jerusalem and broke his glasses. After the attack, the Arab was arrested and sentenced to four months’ community service. The student was awarded NIS 10,000 in compensation. Currently, Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher has filed an NIS 100,000 civil suit with the Jerusalem Magistrates Court against the assailant on behalf of the victim.
Attorney Bleicher commented on the case: “We are increasing our efforts to exact a high price from every assailant who considers attacking Jews in our capital city, sowing fear among the Jewish nation returning to their land. We will continue our work toward eradicating antisemitism.”
