Sunday, September 14, 2025, 14:24 On Sunday, journalist Avishai Grinzaig revealed that a meeting took place at the end of last week between the police and the GSS about five detained Yehuda and Shomron residents. The GSS detained the residents after they protested against the GSS persecution of Yehuda and Shomron residents. Grinzaig also revealed that at the meeting, the security forces stated that they have no evidence incriminating the detainees, therefore, the residents cannot be put on trial. Following the revelation, Honenu Attorney Nati Rom, on behalf of the Honenu attorneys representing the residents, demanded that the court immediately release them.

Attorney Rom issued a statement: “This case is being handled in a disgraceful and scandalous manner. It started with draconian orders that were not appropriate for the acts of which the detainees were accused. Then, the detainees were abused in GSS interrogation rooms. We have learned now that baseless requests for detentions were submitted when it was already obvious that the investigation would prove futile. We hope that the relevant authorities reach the correct conclusions from this incident and prevent a reoccurrence.”
