Order prohibiting ISA detainees from meeting with attorney extended by five days

Sunday, April 10, 2016, 14:04 The order prohibiting three Jewish men detained on the night of Monday, April 4, from meeting with an attorney has been extended by five days. The three detainees have been held in ISA facilities since their detention, a gag order has been placed on publicizing the details of the case and the detainees have not yet met with an attorney.
Honenu Attorney Adi Kedar, who is representing the detainees, announced that he will file an appeal with the court on the extension of the order.
On the night of Saturday, April 9, after Shabbat, a demonstration was held opposite the residence of Deputy Attorney General Raz Nizri in Givat Shmuel, calling on him to allow the detainees to meet with an attorney. The protesters called on Nizri, who was involved with the torture of detainees in the Kfar Duma case, not to allow a repeat of the torture.
On Monday, April 11, a deliberation on the remand extension of the three detainees is expected to take place at the Petah Tikva Magistrate Court. Family and friends of the detainees intend to protest outside of the courthouse.
