“Justice for Ahuvia!”: Timeline of the demonstration

Honenu is representing those who are insisting on the investigation of the death of Ahuvia Sandak, z”l, who was tragically killed in a police car chase, and defending the many who are being detained while demonstrating for change in police behavior. Thursday, November 4, 2021 On Thursday, November 4, Ahuvia Sandak’s parents and approximately 1,000 supporters demonstrated at the String Bridge in Jerusalem in a demand to put the policemen who caused Ahuvia’s death on trial.

21:23 Five protesters have been detained.

21:27 Police brutality is being reported.

21:53 The entrance to Jerusalem has been blocked for approximately two hours.

22:23 The protest has strayed from the intersection. Severe police brutality is being reported. More protesters are being detained.

23:10 Reports of over 15 detainees, including minors, have reached Honenu’s headquarters. Some of the detainees have been injured from police brutality. Honenu Attorney Assaf Gonen is assisting the detainees at the police station.
