Special (Yassam) police forces “kidnapped” yeshiva student in Yitzhar

Sunday, August 7 13:09 Special (Yassam) police forces arrived this morning in Yitzhar and began patrol the community for several hours. According to residents it appeared that the Yassam police were looking for a conflict.
A short time ago a Savana van arrived at the gate of the “Od Yosef Chai” yeshiva with six Yassam policemen. The gate was locked and they waited for approximately half an hour outside of the gate. At some point a vehicle left the yeshiva and one of the students opened the gate. The Yassam police approached the student and asked him if he was afraid that they would enter the yeshiva. The student replied that the yeshiva is private property and they do not have authority to enter it. In response the Yassam police grabbed him, put him in their van and sped away from Yitzhar.
Residents of Yitzhar say that it appears that Shai Nitzan is sending policemen from the Yehuda and Shomron district in order to look for conflicts in Yitzhar. This is after last week 12 administrative restraining orders were issued against residents of Yehuda and Shomron, banning then from entering the region.
