Thursday, July 29, 2021, 12:02 The Rishon LeTzion Magistrates Court has extended the remand of a suspect in the Destau Bisset, Hy”d, murder case until Monday (August 2). During Arab rioting at the time of Operation Guardian of the Walls, two Arabs riding electric bicycles in Ramleh ran over Bisset, who later died of his injuries. Several members of the Bisset family were present at the court hearing, accompanied by Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher, who is assisting the family with realizing their rights as victims of terror. See here and here for more details.
After the hearing, Bleicher stated, “As the family claimed from the start, there is increasing suspicion that Bisset was murdered. We hope that the murderers and all of the accomplices will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It is already time to learn from this case that every violent crime in which a Jew is targeted without a reason should be investigated as a terror attack. The murder of a Jew in Ramleh during the Arab riots of 2021 should shake the foundations of the GSS and the Israeli Police, who must do absolutely everything to bring the perpetrators of the murder to trial.”
