Sunday, February 13, 2022, 21:11 On Saturday night (February 12), after Shabbat, a Jewish man in his 20s was run over in the Shimon HaTzadik neighborhood by an Arab resident of East Jerusalem. His legs were moderately injured and the following night he underwent a complicated operation under general anesthesia at Hadassa Mt. Scopus Hospital where he is hospitalized. He is expected to undergo another operation within a week. Honenu attorneys are assisting the victim.
Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher: “There was a very serious outcome to this incident. In light of the many terror attacks that have occurred in the same area, it appears that the level of security has deteriorated. We expect the police to act decisively and to increase deterrence against terrorism in Jerusalem, the capital city of the State of Israel.”
