Sunday, October 25, 2020, 8:05 On Saturday night (October 24), Knesset Member Osama Sa’adi (Joint List) assaulted a Rehovot resident at the Kaplan Hospital. The same night Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher sent an urgent complaint to the Rehovot Police Station on behalf of the injured party, who had recorded the incident on his cell phone.
The incident began when left-wing activists and anarchists who had come to the hospital to show support for Maher al-Akhras, a hospitalized member of the Islamic Jihad terror organization, closely approached the complainant and argued with him. At some point Knesset Member Sa’adi arrived and grabbed the complainant’s cell phone.

In the complaint Bleicher wrote that in the process of grabbing the complainant’s cell phone, Knesset Member Sa’adi punched him. Knesset Member Ofer Kasif (Joint List) was also recorded arguing with the complainant and shouting at him. Additionally, Knesset Members and supporters of the terrorist clashed with the hospital’s security guards and with families of patients who complained about the disturbance.
Jonathan Pollack, a known activist-anarchist, was among the supporters present. During the past few years Pollack has led disturbances and rioting in the Yehuda and Shomron regions in which many IDF soldiers have been injured.
Bleicher wrote that the fearless assault in view of policemen and security guards indicates the extent of the danger that the assailants pose to the public. In the complaint, Bleicher demanded that the assailants be detained immediately and also mentioned that the complainant would arrive the following morning (Sunday) at the police station to formally file a complaint and submit his documentation to the police.
