Official postponement request
Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 16:17 The President of the Military Court, Colonel Meir Vigisser, granted a request by the Military Advocate General to postpone a hearing for the IDF Unit 100 soldiers indicted in the Sde Teiman case on suspicion of assaulting a Nukhba terrorist prisoner who took part in the Simhat Torah massacre (October 7). The hearing that was scheduled for this week was postponed for a month due to the need for additional meetings between the recently-appointed Chief Military Advocate, Major-General Itai Ophir, and the soldiers’ attorneys.
Honenu Attorneys Adi Keidar, Moshe Poleski, and Nati Rom, who are representing two of the soldiers, demanded that the case be closed: “We call on the Military Advocate General to take the necessary step and rescind the indictment today. Every postponement needlessly prolongs the exhausting legal proceedings. In the coming days, we will meet with Major-General Ophir. We are certain that after we meet and present all of the evidence, the only conclusion that will be drawn is for the Military Advocate General to rescind the indictment. It should be done as soon as possible.”
