Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 15:20 Yesterday (Monday), A Jewish man was detained on the Temple Mount for handing out candies in celebration of Nasrallah’s death. He was summoned to a hearing at the police station, where he was banned from the Temple Mount for seven days. Honenu Attorney Nati Rom is representing the detainee.

The detainee claimed at the hearing that he had not violated any law: “Rejoicing over the death of an arch-terrorist is not a crime. This feeling is shared by all of the most senior officials in the State. Banning me from the Temple Mount over this is an immoral act.”

Honenu Attorney Nati Rom added: “Expressing gratitude on the Temple Mount for the elimination of the mass-murderer Nasrallah is not a crime. The decision by the police is preposterous. We will demand that the district commander immediately cancel my client’s restraining order.”
