The current administrative order
17-year-old Binyamin resident was served with a six-month administrative order distancing him from all areas of Yehuda and Shomron, except for his own community, and forbidding him to make contact with 48 specific individuals. He has also been placed under house arrest at night – from 20:00 until sunrise – for four months. The GOC of the Central Command, Major-General Roni Numa, on a recommendation by the Jewish Department of the ISA, issued the order. As with all administrative orders there is no evidence and no judicial procedure has been carried out. The Binyamin resident had also been been under administrative restrictions recently.
In related news, on January 8 a 16-year-old Yitzhar resident was served with an administrative order imposing on him house arrest at night and forbidding him to make contact with 170 specific individuals. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher filed an appeal on the order, which is expected to be judged in a military court in a few days.
The youth has stated there are dozens of people on the list with whom he is not acquainted and that there are others on the list, including an IDF officer and soldiers in elite units, with whom he has not been in contact for several years.
