After wave of Arab terror, Jewish man banned from Yehuda and Shomron

Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 13:08 On the night of Monday, October 5, a 23 year old Jewish Shomron resident was served with an administrative order banning him from entering Yehuda and Shomron for six months. The order is signed by the GOC of the Central Command, Major General Roni Numa and requires the recipient to stay either in Modi’in Elite or within the Green Line. Additionally according to the order if he stays in Modi’in Elite he will be under house arrest at night. He is also forbidden to make contact with 11 specific people.
On the previous day, Sunday, October 4, the eve of the Simchat Torah holiday, several Shomron residents were summoned to the Ariel Police Station for interrogation. The coordinators of the Jewish Department of the GSS telephoned additional residents and, using threatening language, ordered them to stop the demonstrations which have been held since the murder of Rabbi Eitam and Na’ama Henkin, Hy”d, on October 1.
Shmuel (Zangi) Meidad, the director of Honenu, stated in response to the administrative order that, “The security system’s loss of control over the Arab terror is apparently the psychological cause of their employing extreme and unreasonable methods against Jews. I call on them [the security forces] to come to their senses and stop allowing this insane mindset to take over their conduct.”
