Court orders release of Tapuah protest detainees

Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 9:52 On Monday, June 18, the Petah Tikva Magistrate Court ordered the release of four detainees from the protest at a Tapuah hilltop the previous day. The detainees, three teen-aged boys and one girl, were released under restrictive conditions, some of them to several days of house arrest.
The police demanded that the court delay the release of one of them in order to allow time for them to file an appeal with the Central District Court on Lod, where the deliberation on his case is expected to be held.
The detainees were represented by Attorney Lital Pearlman from the office of Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar and by Honenu Attorney Avichai Hajbi.
