Deliberation scheduled in Zemora case

Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 11:33 At 10:30 on Wednesday, May 23, a deliberation will take place at the Ofer Military Court concerning the penalty for the terrorist who stabbed and seriously injured Nirit Zemora at the Etzion Bloc Intersection parking lot on October 28, 2015.
Ofer Military Court Judges Lieutenant Colonel Tzvi Heilbron and Major Haim Baliti ruled that it was not possible to prove that the terrorist, Hevron resident Hamza Faiz, had the intent to kill, exonerated him of attempted murder, and convicted him of aggravated assault. The ruling caused a public outcry. The Military Advocate General have announced that they intend to appeal the verdict.
Nirit Zemora is expected to speak before the court.
