Hikers Still Being Held

Sun. Jan. 30
Jerusalem Magistrates Judge Anat Zinger extended the remand of the two hikers, one until Tues and the second until Wed.
The police still doesn’t have any evidence, neither a body nor bullets to prove that there was a murder or who did it.
Judge Zinger said that there’s no suspicion of murder. She requested that the police also investigate the hikers’ charges. The hikers said they were attacked by the Arabs who threw rocks at them and that there was shooting from the Arab village, known to be pro-terror, in their direction.
Honenu lawyer Adi Kedar represented one, and the other had a private attorney.
A hiker complained about the conduct of the police. “ Jewish hikers had been attacked and the police defend the Arabs, forgetting that their job is to defend Jews.”
