Honenu mourns the passing of Rabbi Chaim Drukman, ztz”l

Honenu joins all of Am Yisrael in mourning the passing of Rabbi Chaim Drukman, ztz”l. Rabbi Drukman was a leading Torah scholar, an exemplary educator, and completely devoted to all of Israel.

Rabbi Drukman advised Honenu for many years and since he joined the organization’s public council he would call, receive updates, and hold meetings at all hours of the day and night. Our last meeting with him, regarding administrative detainees, took place two days before his final hospitalization.

Honenu director Shmuel (Zangi) Meidad: “As a student of the Rabbi, I regard Honenu as part of the education I received from him, and I credit him with the strengths of the organization. May his memory be for a blessing.”
