Jew assaulted in Old City of Jerusalem released from intensive care

Saturday, June 7, 2014, 23:47 (after Shabbat) On Friday, June 6 the youth injured by a club-wielding Arab on Tuesday, June 3, the eve of the Shavuot holiday was transferred from intensive care to a regular ward. The youth was walking with a group of friends to the Western Wall when they were attacked by Arabs near the Dung Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Honenu continues to advise the youth, who was interrogated by the police while he was in intensive care. The Arab assailant, who was detained immediately after the assault, will be kept in remand until the morning of Sunday, June 8.
