Thursday, July 21, 2022, 9:45 Honenu received reports of 11 participants detained at the sites of new communities being founded by the Nahala (Inheritance) Movement in Yehuda and Shomron over the past day. Most of the detainees were released on site, and some were released at the various police stations to which they had been taken. Last night, Honenu attorneys advised detainees at the police stations before they were interrogated.
The new community sites are near Kiryat Arba, Bruchin, Pisagot, and at other locations in the Binyamin region. The detainees were brought to police stations in Kiryat Arba, Sha’ar Binyamin, and Hashmonaim. Honenu Attorneys Chayim Bleicher, Nati Rom, Moshe Poleski, and Yitzhak Weiner assisted the detainees. Honenu prepared well ahead of time by bolstering staff at the 24-hour hotline and increasing the number of attorneys on-call.
