Police request remand extension for youths arrested at Givat Harchivi

Monday, June 27 10:55 The four youths arrested yesterday (Sunday) during conflicts at Givat Harchivi adjacent to Elon Moreh will be brought to a deliberation at the Petah Tikva Magistrate Court. The police are requesting an extension of several days on their remand, claiming that the youth assaulted policemen and punctured the tires of police cars that participated in the evacuation.

Yesterday border police and soldiers violently cleared Givat Harchivi, a hilltop adjacent to Elon Moreh. A truck was brought to the site and used to crush the vehicles used for housing. According to one of the residents, the truck driver threatened with his pistol the youth blocking the truck.
