Protesters detained in Jerusalem, Petah Tikva and Lod

Thursday, October 8, 2015, 9:34 Brief updates on last night’s/this morning’s detainees:
Jerusalem: A Jewish youth approximately 15 years old was detained on the Temple Mount shortly after 9:00 on the morning of Thursday, October 8. He is suspected of mumbling a prayer. A Honenu attorney is providing him with legal assistance.
Petah Tikva: Two Petah Tikva residents, one minor and one adult, were detained overnight (Wednesday, October 7) at a demonstration held at the site of the recent terror attack in Petah Tikva in protest of the security forces’ insufficient response to the current wave of terror attacks. The two detainees were released overnight. Honenu attorney Adi Kedar handled their case.
Lod: A Lod resident, approximately 30 years old, was detained overnight (Wednesday, October 7) during a demonstration by residents protesting the security situation and the assaults by Arabs on Jews in the city. After being interrogated he was released overnight. Honenu attorney Adi Kedar handled his case.
