13, demonstrations began to take place at dozens of intersections in Yehuda and Shomron and throughout Israel. Honenu’s staff was ready to provide legal counsel to protesters and detainees.
Protest at Tapuah Junction
Thursday, December 13, 2018, 17:40 Several protesters, among them minor girls, have been detained at the Tapuah Junction in the Shomron during a demonstration protesting the security situation following recent murderous terror attacks.Honenu is assisting the detainees.
Protest at Adam Junction
Thursday, December 13, 2018, 21:12 A short time ago a man dressed in civilian clothes carrying a long gun and a communications device fired a shot into the air at the Adam Junction north of Jerusalem near Jewish demonstrators protesting the lack of security in the area. The demonstrators were blocking the road to Arab traffic. The demonstrators turned to Honenu for advice and the organization intends to demand that the shooter be brought to justice.
Protest outside of Tzfat, Jews, not Arab assailants, detained
Thursday, December 13, 2018, 22:00 At the Kfar Akbara Junction outside of Tzfat Jewish demonstrators protesting the wave of Arab terror throughout Israel were assaulted by an Arab mob wielding clubs and throwing rocks.Policemen from the Tzfat Police who arrived at the scene detained some of the Jewish demonstrators, but none of the Arab assailants. The detainees, five minors and two adults, were taken to the Tzfat Police Station for interrogation. Honenu Attorney Moshe Poleski is assisting the detainees. It appears that some of the detainees have been injured during the assault.
Tzfat: Injured demonstrator treated in hospital
Thursday, December 13, 2018, 22:52 A demonstrator injured by Arab assailants at the protest outside of Tzfat is being treated in a Tzfat hospital. He suffered injuries to his face from a thrown rock and requires stitches to his lip.
