“The detainees are being held like the worst of terrorists”

Sunday, August 7 18:37 Honenu attorney Adi Kedar left the GSS facilities in Petah Tikva a short time ago, after meeting with the two detainees from Yitzhar. According to him the two still are not aware of the reason for their arrest.
Kedar reported that the two are being held in humiliating conditions as if they were the worst of terrorists. Their clothes have been confiscated, they have been separated from each other and are being held in small cells with no bed or toilet.
Earlier the two were arrested and taken to the interrogation facility of the GSS in Petah Tikva. One of the detainees, a minor 17 years old from Elon Moreh, was arrested by Yassam (Special) police at the entrance to the “Od Yosef Chai” yeshiva in Yitzhar. The other detainee, who since last week has been under an administrative restraining order banning him from entering Yehuda and Shomron, was arrested by police detectives on the Geha Highway.
Apparently the investigators from the Jewish Department of the GSS will request a remand extension tomorrow at the Petah Tikva Magistrate Court.
