Three Yitzhar residents detained after protest in Hawara

Thursday, June 30 14:14 Yitzhar residents demonstrated this morning in the town of Hawara in protest of last night’s car theft. A car was stolen at knife point from a female resident of Yitzhar in Hawara.
The residents blocked the Hawara junction to Arab traffic for several hours, threw rocks at Arab cars and burned fields and plantations in the town.
After the incident three residents of Yitzhar were detained by police who were positioned at the intersection leading to the community.
