Sunday, November 24, 2019, 9:56 On Monday, November 25, the administrative order which distances Neriya Zarog from the Yehuda and Shomron regions, including his home and place of work, will expire.
Honenu Attorney Nati Rom, who is representing Zarog, stated: “This coming Monday the order served to my client, Neriya Zarog, will expire. We hope very much that he will be able to return to his home, his children, his work and his community. And we hope that a new order will not be issued against him.
“The order is draconian, violates basic human rights, and has no place in a democratic country. We hope that the use of such orders against Israeli citizens in Yehuda and Shomron will stop immediately.”
Zarog is still in remand, and still refuses to sign on the order: “I will not agree to sign on a draconian administrative order that determines with a piece of paper that I can be distanced from the Land of Israel and from my home,” declared Zarog. When the order expires, and if, as we hope, a new one is not issued, he will be able to end his protest and be released from remand.
