15-year-old detained, remand extended

Tuesday, April 24, 2018, 14:21 The remand of an approximately 15-year-old minor detained in Jerusalem on the morning of Tuesday, April 24, on suspicion of destroying Arab property in the Jerusalem area approximately two months previously has been extended until Sunday, April 29.
Honenu Attorney David HaLevi, who represented the minor, stated that, “My client denies all charges. He is a 15-year-old minor with no criminal record. The decision to extend his remand by six days is drastic and does not take into consideration all of the parameters, especially in light of his age. We intend to appeal the decision with the Jerusalem District Court.”
