Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 14:23 This morning, hundreds of people arrived at the Kerem Shalom Crossing to block the passage of “humanitarian aid” trucks to Gaza. As of now, 40 protesters, among them 14-15-year-old minors, have been detained and transferred to the Netivot Police Station. One of the detainees is Yehuda Dee, whose sisters Rina and Maya, and mother, Lucy, Hy”d, were murdered in a terror attack at the Hamra Junction last Passover.

Honenu Attorney Nati Rom, who is providing legal counsel to the detainees, stated, “Dozens of detainees are arriving in an endless stream, including bereaved families, parents of soldiers, and citizens from all parts of Israel. This is an absolutely legitimate protest against aid to the Hamas terror organization during a time of war. It is sad to see the protesters handcuffed at the police station. I hope that the closed military zone order will be canceled and the detention of citizens will stop.”
