Friday, February 10, 10:58 Yesterday evening large numbers of police and GSS forces raided the community of K’far Tapuah in the Shomron. The forces demanded that all of the residents enter their homes. At the end of the raid two young women, one of them a minor, were arrested on suspicion of spraying graffiti in the village of Luban Al-Sharqiya near the community of Shilo.
The raid was carried out using advanced means of identification in order to locate the suspects, who were not in their homes at the time. In response to the announcement by the police that they had arrested suspects accused of spraying graffiti in the village of Luban Al-Sharqiya, Honenu said that, “ Where have we ever seen an operation of this magnitude, comprised of such large numbers of police and GSS forces, all in order to arrest a few young women suspected of spraying graffiti, the punishment for which according to law is a fine? ”
The young women are currently being brought to a deliberation on their remand extension at the Jerusalem Magistrate Court. They are being represented by attorney Ariel Atari, who has been hired by Honenu.
