At the end of the week several deliberations took place at the K’far Saba and Jerusalem Magistrate Courts

Sunday, May 15 19:15 On Wednesday at the K’far Saba Magistrate Court a deliberation took place on the Ra’anana and Kedumim residents accused of entering the destroyed town of Homesh in the Shomron. Judge Dana Marshak Marom presided over the deliberation, which had been postponed for the purpose of appointing a defense attorney.
Additionally a deliberation took place on the four residents of Yehuda and Shomron charged with interfering with a policeman in the line of duty during a protest opposite the home of Rami Ziv, the Civil Administration’s Inspection Unit Deputy Chief , in Peduel. The four had filed requests to delay proceedings and the deliberation had been postponed in response to their requests.
A deliberation at which the charge sheet was read took place on two Shomron residents and one Jerusalem resident accused of opposing the evacuation of the Shevut Ami outpost. The deliberation had been postponed for the purpose of appointing a defense attorney.
An additional deliberation took place on the Kedumim resident accused of attacking an Arab near Kedumim. The deliberation had been postponed in order to arrange appointment of an attorney.
At the Jerusalem Magistrate Court the trial of two Jerusalem residents charged with blocking the T-intersection near Beit El in protest of the evacuation of the Shalom House in Hebron ended. In the plea bargain closed it was decided that the two would not be convicted, but would carry out 180 hours of community service. Honenu attorney David HaLevi represented the two. Judge Yehezkel Barclay presided over the trial.
