Wednesday, June 30, 2021, 21:56 Muntasir Ahmed Ali Shalabi murdered Yehuda Guetta, Hy”d, and injured others in a May 2 terror attack at Tapuah Junction. On June 17, despite a petition filed by HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual (HaMoked), the High Court of Justice authorized the demolition of Shalabi’s house. HaMoked and Shalabi’s family subsequently filed a request for an additional hearing and requested that the High Court of Justice hold another hearing and stop the demolition of the house. The President of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Esther Hayut, rejected the request out of hand on June 30.
Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher, who is assisting the victims of the attack and their families: “The Supreme Court did well to stop another attempt by HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual to interfere with IDF operations that are deterring Islamic terror. Terrorists must know that attacks on Israeli citizens will result in the demolition of their houses.”
