Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 8:18 At 9:00 on Tuesday, January 7, the recent GSS detainees will be brought to several deliberations at the Central District Court in Lod.
A deliberation will take place on the appeal that Honenu filed in the case of two of the detainees who have been remanded for six days without meeting with an attorney. The Honenu Attorneys will demand that the detainees be allowed to speak to an attorney. A deliberation will be held on the appeal filed on the remand extension of the minor and that of one of the adults.
Honenu Attorneys Chai Haber, Amir Bracha, Adi Keidar, Avichai Hajbi and Nati Rom are representing the detainees.

Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 9:39 Following a partial lifting of the gag order and reports of brutality and rights violations by the GSS interrogators, the attorneys of the detainees will issue a statement to the media at the Central District Court in Lod at 14:00. The attorneys will reveal details concerning the serious rights violations of the detainees and concerning the brutality in the interrogation rooms.
Immediately afterwards, at 14:30, deliberations will take place on the appeals filed by the attorneys on behalf of the detainees.

Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 12:45 Following threats by the police and the GSS to the Honenu Attorneys representing the recent GSS detainees, the planned statement to the media concerning the detainees has been canceled.
Despite a partial lifting of the gag order, representatives of the GSS and the police informed Honenu Attorneys that they are prohibited from making their planned statement to the media about the brutal treatment and rights violations of the detainees being interrogated by the GSS. At this stage, the publication of the rights violations and details of the brutality in the interrogation rooms has been postponed.
The deliberations are scheduled to take place as planned.
