Court orders Yitzhar detainees released

Thursday, July 18, 14:27 The Jerusalem Magistrate Court ordered that the four minors detained on Sunday, July 14 in Yitzhar on suspicion of assaulting policemen be released to ten days of house arrest.
In a deliberation which took place on Thursday, July 18 at the Jerusalem Magistrate Court during which the police filed a plaintiff’s affidavit against the minors Judge Tamar Bar-Asher Tsaban ruled that there is no need for the youths to spend any more time in remand. Judge Bar-Asher Tsaban acquiesced to the police request and delayed carrying out the decision until the following day in order to allow the police to appeal the decision.
