District court overturned decision, four minors released from remand

Thursday, February 13, 22:25 Four minors were detained on the morning of Thursday, February 13 without a warrant, in their homes, on suspicion of throwing rocks at Arabs. The minors were released shortly after ten o’clock at night the same day by the Jerusalem District Court which overturned the Jerusalem Magistrate Court’s decision to agree to the police request to leave the detainees in remand, some until Friday and the others until Sunday.
Jerusalem District Court Judge Drori drew strong and unequivocal criticism against the police incursion on the homes of the detainees without a judicial warrant of any sort.
Attorney Itamar Ben Gvir represented the detainees on behalf of Honenu.
