Fourth administrative order signed recently

Monday, August 18, 2014, 15:33 GOC Central Command Major General Nitzan Alon signed on an administrative order against a minor from Bat Ayin. This is the fourth administrative order on which the Jewish Department of the GSS has recommended that Major General Alon sign recently.
Major General Alon signed on an administrative order banning a 17 year old Bat Ayin resident from entering Yehuda and Shomron for a period of four months. The order gives the youth the choice of either staying in the community of Mevo Horon or not entering Yehuda and Shomron at all.
This is the fourth administrative order which Alon has signed against Jewish youths during the past few weeks. Three of the orders were signed at the time of fighting in the Gaza Strip, against residents of Jerusalem, Kiryat Arba and Bat Ayin.
Honenu stresses that the orders are issued without evidence and rely on “confidential material” which is presented by the Jewish Department of the GSS. The families of the youths against whom the orders were issued, who turned to Honenu for assistance, are considering the possible legal actions.
There is the possibility of appealing the order, however in a deliberation, which generally takes place a long after the order is issued, GSS agents present to the court, sometimes a military court, confidential material to which the attorney appealing the order is not allowed access, and thus the likelihood of a successful appeal is very low.
Honenu responded: “We deplore the use by the IDF of administrative orders, without a trial, without a judgment, against Jews supportive of the People and Land of Israel.”
