Nine detained yesterday at “Circling the Gates”

Monday, August 1 9:35 Nine youths were detained yesterday during the “Circling of the Old City Gates” around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The police canceled the permit for holding the event, on a claim of being concerned about the reaction of the Muslims, who are marking the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
All of the detainees were released overnight, some of them under condition of a restraining order barring them from the Old City of Jerusalem for several days.
It should be noted that Amotz Ayal, a photographer from the news agency Yehidat Tatzpit, was delayed after photographing during the “Circling of the Gates”.
