Reserve soldier detained yesterday released

Friday, April 12, 12:39 The reserve soldier detained on Thursday, April 11 at the Tomb of Samuel complex was unconditionally released after interrogation at the Shafat Police Station in Neve Ya’akov.
It should be noted that none of the Arab youths who destroyed Israeli flags hanging off of cars were detained for interrogation.
Honenu states that, “It is a shame that a short time before the day which is supposed to symbolize the independence of the State of Israel, we are faced with a deplorable situation in which an IDF soldier is automatically accused whereas an Arab law breaker has impunity from law enforcement.”
