Scandal! Two minors still in remand because of malfunctioning police station fax

Thursday, November 24, 2011, 18:17 Two minors active in “Gareen Shechem” who were detained overnight at Kever Yosef (Joseph’s Tomb) in Shechem are still in remand, many hours after the court’s decision ordering their release, the reason being a malfunctioning fax machine at the police station.
The minors, who were detained last night on their way to Kever Yosef, are still in remand at the Ariel police station. Their parents signed the required guarantees at their local police stations, however the fax machine at the Ariel police station is malfunctioning, therefore the police investigators at the police stations at which the parents signed are unable to fax the guarantee forms.
Honenu Attorney Adi Keidar is working to secure the immediate release of the minors.
