Six minors detained at protest

Sunday, August 19, 2018, 19:19 On Sunday, August 19, six girls, all of them minors, some of them 12-13 years old and one of them only 11 years old, were detained at the Shomron Brigade Intersection while blocking the road to Arab traffic. They were protesting the lack of action taken following the murder of an Emmanuel resident near Havat Gilad the previous week: The murderer has neither been detained nor investigated.
The 11-year old has been detained for a period of time which exceeds the legal limit and her detention was not authorized. Honenu Attorney Nati Rom is assisting the girls with legal counsel.
