Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 11:37 On Israeli Independence Day, a resident of central Israel was detained on the Temple Mount after waving an Israeli flag and singing HaTikva, Israel’s national anthem. Police officers at the site confiscated his flag, and when he left the Temple Mount, he was immediately detained and escorted by officers to the police station. Honenu Attorney Nati Rom provided the detainee with legal counsel.
