Response to Supreme Court’s rejection of petition opposing pardon of Disengagement protesters

Thursday, February 23, 23:26 Honenu, which was among the initiators of the law to pardon the Disengagement protesters, and which represented all of the arrestees, has responded: “Despite that fact that the Supreme Court’s decision is not without merit, the law is too little, too late. The Expulsion of Jews from the land of Israel with no justifiable explanation and for no logical reason caused a disconnect between segments of the Jewish population. This injustice has not yet been rectified, and still no serious and sincere attempt has been made to heal the rift.”
