Wednesday, September 10, 2025, 20:27 Dozens of Arab terrorists brutally attacked Mor Janashvilli in Acco during Operation Guardian of the Walls (May 2021). The mob beat him with clubs and kicked him until he collapsed semi-conscious to the ground. While recovering from his severe injuries, Janashvilli launched a legal battle for the conviction of the terrorists who took part in the attack. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher is representing Janashvilli.

Now, four years after the attack, nine terrorists who took part in the attack have been convicted. Four have been sentenced to prison terms of between 6 and 17 years. Janashvilli was also awarded compensation. Despite numerous health complications, Janashvilli continues to attend every court hearing in the trial, including the hearings currently being held for the five terrorists who have not yet been sentenced.

After a recent hearing, Janashvilli said, “I, together with Attorney Bleicher, am continuing with all my strength to fight a legal battle at the end of which every terrorist who attacked me will sit in prison for many years. I am fighting on behalf of the entire People of Israel, so that the blood of Jews in the State of Israel will not be worthless.”

Attorney Bleicher added, “We see with our own eyes the influence that Mor’s attendance at every hearing has. The voice that Mor raises leads to decisive treatment by the law enforcement authorities of the terrorists and increases the severity of the penalties handed down to them. Thus the security of Israeli citizens is increased, and terrorists are deterred from attacking Jews.”

During Operation Guardian of the Walls (May 2021), Janashvilli was brutally attacked in Acco as he drove to visit his mother. Dozens of Arab rioters pelted his car with large rocks, heavy furniture, and anything else they could get their hands on. Janashvilli lost control of his car, drove it into a wall, and was forced to flee. The Arab mob beat him with clubs and kicked him until he collapsed on the ground in a semi-conscious state. He was saved at the last moment, apparently by Arabs who called the emergency services. He was evacuated by ambulance to the hospital, suffering from bruises on his entire body, broken bones, cuts on his face, partial paralysis in his left leg, headaches, and dizziness. Since the attack, Janshvilli has waged an uncompromising legal battle demanding that all of his attackers be brought to justice.
