Yesterday evening: last of Joseph’s Tomb detainees released

Wednesday, May 4 10:32 Yesterday evening (Tuesday) the last of the detainees from Joseph’s Tomb were released. The court ordered the unconditional release of 18 detainees and two others were prohibited from approaching within five kilometers of Joseph’s Tomb for a period of 10 days.
Earlier approximately 35 other Jews detained after they entered Joseph’s Tomb two nights ago were unconditionally released. The group was illegally detained for more than 10 hours and was held in an enclosure under harsh conditions in the parking lot of the Ariel police station.
Honenu attorney Yehuda Shimon stayed at the police station and briefed the detainees. Honenu attorneys Adi Kedar and Chai Haber represented the detainees in court.
